Every career starts somewhere, and mine started in college. While completing my degree, I began five years of work as a writer and copy editor for daily, weekly and monthly papers in New York and New Mexico.

The interviewing skills I honed as a journalist serve me well in today’s dynamic health care arena. Whether the subject is new medical technology or the nuances of insurance coverage, interviewing gives me access to the information I need to create effective, highly readable content.  

In addition to 20+ years in health care communications, I hold a Bachelor of Science degree in Journalism and am accredited in public relations through Public Relations Society of America. As a health care communicator for TriCore Reference Laboratories, Sun Healthcare, QualMed and others, I’ve created every kind of content you might need to connect with external or internal audiences.

I’m as passionate about the human side of health care as I am about technical topics, and I always sweat the details. I know how to deliver difficult news with a light and sensitive touch.
